He worked for 10 years as a live sound engineer and in 2005 began a collaboration with Forward Studios that continues to this day. He was introduced to the art of mastering by Marcello Spiridioni and today is a brilliant mastering engineer who boasts collaborations with top Italian and international artists.

ANDREA SECCHI

Sound engineer - Producer

His career began in 1998 as an assistant sound engineer on Luca Barbarossa's album and continued with a very young Mengoni and many others. He has been with Forward for years, taking on the role of resident engineer. Over the years, he has gained experience as a sound engineer, specializing in electronic music production and live studio recordings (jazz, singer-songwriter, and rock).

Sound engineer - Producer

Graduated from Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Piano, he began his exploration of the world of sound engineering in 2010, opening his first project studio, which soon evolved into a professional recording studio in 2016, a hub for young bands and singer-songwriters. His brand new acquired skills found their way into Forward Studios, where he has been on of the lead sound engineers since 2022. In addition to his sound engineering career, he has also pursued a career as a producer in rock, pop, blues, and jazz music, and as a multi-instrumentalist, performing live since 1996.

FRANCESCO PUTORTÌ

SOUND engineer

A graduate of the Abbey Road Institute, his musical influences are Neo Soul, Reggae, and Hip Hop. He's constantly searching for the perfect combination of analog outboard gear and digital plugins. Creator and founder of Band&Breakfast, a partner of Forward Studios, which offers a valuable networking and service tool for artists across Europe.

A songwriter and guitarist, he's best known in the rock/metal scene as the producer of Hopes Die Last. He's always working on new projects such as Elenoir, Wepro, and Alphawolves.

Phil Palmer

Musician - Producer

One of the greatest guitarists in rock, pop, and jazz, he has worked with artists such as Battisti, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, Tina Turner, Dire Straits, Bryan Adams, David Knopfler, George Michael, Renato Zero, Claudio Baglioni, Robbie Williams, and many others.

Alan Clark

Musician - Producer

Keyboardist and co-producer for Dire Straits. He has worked with greats such as Tina Turner, Eric Clapton, Bob Dylan, the Bee Gees, Sting, Al Green, George Harrison, Robbie Williams, Seal, and the Pet Shop Boys. In 2018, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Richard Barbieri

Musician - Producer

Sound designer, composer, and undisputed King of Synths, one of the most recognized figures in the Progressive Rock scene since his debut in the 1970s with the band Japan. His unmistakable talent with keyboards and synths played a significant role in shaping the band's sound.

Primiano Di Biase

Musician - Producer

Pianist, accordionist, composer, and producer. He has also been working for years as the keyboardist for Dire Straits Legacy: Phil Palmer, Mel Collins, Jack Sonni, John Illsley, Danny Cummings, and Steve Ferrone.
